I read this book after I received an arc for Broken Juliet (Book 2) and I am so glad I did, this story is NOT Romeo & Juliet, so please don't go into it thinking that. It's got a little something for everyone. It's a love story of course, but it's raw, emotional and sexy as well. It's also quite frustrating as well, so prepare for a little angst ;)

This book is the perfect mix of sexy, sweet, funny, sad and everything in between. Leisa has a way of making you feel the sexual tension to your core without being graphic. I can't think of anyone who reads the romance genre that would not enjoy this book <3

One of my fave quotes: “It's a fucking crime that you haven't been kissed properly.”

And a little sexy for ya!

“Jesus.” He groans, one hand grasping my hair as he uses the other one to find my breast. “This is just…Goddammit, Taylor. I’m so fucking stupid, because I knew you’d ruin me, and I let it happen anyway. I’m so screwed.”
“We both are.” I grab his head and make him kiss me more.”

Bad Romeo

While performing the greatest love story of all time, they discovered one of their own...

Cassie Taylor was just another acting student with big dreams at her prestigious performing arts college, then she met Ethan Holt. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy on campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing on stage, Cassie and Ethan's epic romance seemed destined. Until it ended in tragedy when he shattered her heart.

Now they've made it to Broadway where they're reunited as romantic leads once again, and their passionate scenes force them to confront the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their intense college affair. For Ethan, losing Cassie was his biggest regret, and he's determined to redeem himself. But for Cassie, even though Ethan was her first and only great love, he hurt her too much to ever be trusted again. The trouble is, working with him reminds her that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks. And when it comes to love, sometimes it's the things that aren't good for us that are the most irresistible.

Don't miss the intoxicating romance beloved by over two million fans online--a story that will captivate you and hold you breathless until the final page.

Finally he's able to say all the things she needed to hear years ago…but can she believe him? Has he really changed, and what makes this time different from all his other broken promises?

The answer lies somewhere in the past, and now the truth will come to light. Will Cassie rediscover what it's like to be trusting and open again--the way she was before Ethan? Or is it too late for these star-crossed lovers?

Romeo & Juliet

Shakespeare

I took a chance on this read, and I am SO glad I did! This story is not about Romeo & Juliet, so don't be discouraged.

Two people meet in drama school, The Grove. Ethan Holt is the "bad boy" if you will. Cassie Taylor is trying to find her place in the world, young virgin YET strong.

Cassie wants Ethan, and he is the one playing hard to get (with good reason)

I loved how Cassie is the pursuant in this story & knows what she wants all the while still being a lady about it. She isn't throwing herself at him. The build up & anticipation of their love story holds a special place in  my heart now. The banter with herself & the funny one liners they say  just makes this story what it is. I laughed, teared up, felt the chills when they connect on a sexual level.

This is a must read for 2015!
