Cocky Bastard

From New York Times Bestsellers, Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska.

A sexy, cocky, Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive.

When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually-tense nights in hotels and taking unplanned detours.

My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.

I wanted him, but Chance wouldn't make a move. I thought he wanted me too, but something was holding him back.

I wasn't supposed to fall for the cocky bastard, especially when I knew we'd be going our separate ways.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

Author's note - Cocky Bastard is a full-length standalone novel. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

The feeeeelssss!!!!

You've probably seen the reviews saying "don't let the name & cover fool you" well that is TRUE! It was totally unexpected!

It starts out FALARIOUS (it's a word, look it up lol). Their chance encounter at the rest stop is only the beginning! I have never wanted to visit Vegas until I read this book! Now I want to go just so I can visit the places mentioned & have a "fake wedding".

PIXY!! Aka Mutton the goat, is a total page stealer!! I have never laughed so hard! It was a great addition to the story!

I couldn't have asked for a better ending! It was perfect & TBH I was actually scared it wasn't going to turn out in his favor!

Great banter. Tons of laughs & a few emotional undertones.Like my fellow redhead said, here's to second chances

Don't let the name and cover fool you. This book was nothing like I expected, it was hilarious, and sexy and sad and happy! The journey these two go on is amazing and so much is wrapped up in this standalone.

This book was also not predictable, I mean 99% of the time you can see the ending coming just not how, but the whole journey to the end was full of little twists and turns that you didn't see coming. Like...just kidding, totally not gonna tell you! Haha!

I loved Pixy, that was such a nice addition to the book too!

Here's to second chances!
