This book is quite different than Leddy's other books, not as emotional, but a little angst and yelling "get your heads out of your asses" at the main characters! Haha

Carter is stubborn as hell and set in his non-dating ways, he downright refuses to feel anything. He gives constant mixed signals. He's able to keep Kara in the friend zone so easily with a few words, she gets a reality check.

Kara is sweet and hooks up with Carter thinking she can stay detached like she always has and figures it should be easy since she's only in Florida for the summer. She was dead wrong!

An accident brings them back together in a not so pleasant way but with some guidance from family on both ends, things turn out perfect.

I'm not gonna lie, you will want to throw your kindle since you can't bash their heads together! They are both so stubborn and have their minds set that it takes them a lot of back and forth to get together but it's well worth it. The back and forth is what makes their ending so sweet. The end of this book was my fave of course because when everything falls into place it's amazing, but not perfect, which is even better as it's real.
